RPO is the long-term transfer of ownership of all or part of an employer's recruitment process to outside experts. According to the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association (RPOA), RPO Recruitment process outsourcing is a type of business process outsourcing (BPO) in which an employer outsources all or part of the recruitment process to an external service provider. RPO providers can provide or employ their own people, technology, methodologies, and reporting. In both cases, RPOs are very different from providers such as recruitment agencies and staffing agencies because they are responsible for designing and managing the recruitment process and are accountable for the results.
